According to a Tuesday story in The Sun, Taylor-Johnson is expected to accept the Bond role and sign a contract this week. The Sun was informed by a source that “Bond is Aaron’s job, should he wish to accept it.”

When will the next James Bond film be released, and how long will Taylor-Johnson play the character? Variety earlier reported that Barbara Broccoli, an Eon Productions producer of the Bond films, would probably be committing to the post for ten to twelve years.

Since Craig announced in 2019 that the spy’s last film will be 2021’s “No Time to Die,” there has been conjecture over who might play Bond after him. Since tabloid reports indicated he met with Broccoli to consider the job, Taylor-Johnson has had the best chances to play the part. Previously, it was believed that actors Henry Cavill, who was most known for playing Superman in the DC Extended Universe movies, and Regé Jean-Page, who starred in “Bridgerton,” were also contenders.
